Hana Turudić (Maroević) was born in Split in 1977. After finishing elementary and high school in Korčula, she studied tourism at the Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Trade (FTVT) in Dubrovnik where she graduated at 2003.
She was a scholarship holder of the Croatian Ministry of Science and Technology in 1998/1999.
After gaining work experience in tourism sector as a tour guide, a tourist agency referent, a sales representative and a tavern manager, she works as Korčula Tourist Board Office Director from August 2012.
Her main field of interests is establishing the position of Korčula Town as a competitive upscale island destination, following the main goals of Korčula Town Tourism Development Startegy: the operational strategies of marketing and tourism offer development, especially the cultural product.
