Sanjin Mihelić is a cultural manager with a thirty years of experience in cultural heritage management. He currently manages the Museum of Arts and Crafts, and previously was director of the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb in two mandates and as president of the international Iron Age Danube Association.

He is the author of numerous scientific and expert works published in the country and abroad, editor of several books, and a lecturer at conferences related to the heritage management topics. He is a member of the Croatian Archaeological Society, the Croatian Museum Society, the European Society of Archaeologists, ICOMOS, and several other heritage associations. As an ICOMOS expert, he performs technical evaluations of those nominated for the UNESCO World Heritage List.
